Al XX Congresso della Fillea Cgil di Modena - 8/10 febbraio 2002, ha partecipato una numerosa delegazione di rappresentanti dei sindacati stranieri:

BWI Federazione Mondiale, EFBWW Federazione Europea, CG/FGBT dal Belgio, FNSCBA CGT dalla Francia, CCOO Habitat dalla Spagna, BAT Kartellet dalla Danimarca, UNIA dalla Svizzera, FGS Familia dalla Romania, FINDICONS dalla Moldavia, PROFBUD dall’Ucraina, RAKENNSULITO dalla Finlandia e FNV dall’Olanda, oltre alla partecipazione della compagna Marina Mesure europarlamentare francese.

Nella giornata precedente l’avvio dei lavori congressuali, per la delegazione ospite è stata organizzata una visita del territorio, con una emozionante visita al Museo della Resistenza F.lli Cervi a Gattatico (RE). La visita è stata l’occasione, in continuità con il percorso che la CGIL ha proposto ai sindacati internazionali contro la cultura fascista e nazista in Europa - lanciata a Roma in occasione della manifestazione dopo un anno dall’aggressione fascista subita alla sede CGIL di Corso d’Italia -, per discutere e condividere la necessità di aumentare il nostro impegno per contrastare insieme ogni forma di fascismo e la necessità di aumentare i nostri sforzi per promuovere sempre più la cultura democratica a partire dai luoghi di lavoro.

Sempre nella stessa giornata, in occasione della cena di benvenuto alla delegazione internazionale, cui hanno partecipato Salvatore Marra Responsabile della Politiche internazionali della CGIL e Alessandro Genovesi Segr. Gen. della Fillea Nazionale, è stata consegnata la tessera della Fillea n. 1 del 2023 alla compagna Luciana Castellina per il suo importante impegno politico per tutta la sinistra italiana ed europea.

Durante i lavori congressuali sono intervenuti:

Paola Cammilli della Bwi, che ha presentato i risultati della campagna in Qatar e lanciato le prossime iniziative della nostra Federazione mondiale;

Tom Deleu – segr. gen. EFBWW – che ha sottolineato la necessità di rafforzare l’impegno a livello europeo per affrontare la transizione verde del settore, vincere la battaglia contro l’uso improprio del subappalto, promuovere la tutela dei lavoratori contro il rischio per la salute dovuto all’amianto;

Vasyl Andreyev - Presidente di PROFBUD il sindacato dei lavoratori delle costruzioni in Ucraina – che ha comunicato ai delegati e alle delegate del congresso le gravi difficoltà in cui si trovano i cittadini e i lavoratori ucraini, invitandoci a sostenere una futura ricostruzione in Ucraina basata sui diritti e sulla qualità del lavoro.

The 20th Fillea CGIL Congress in Modena - 8/10 February 2002, was attended by a large delegation of foreign trade union representatives:

BWI World Federation, EFBWW European Federation, CG/FGBT from Belgium, FNSCBA CGT from France, CCOO Habitat from Spain, BAT Kartellet from Denmark, UNIA from Switzerland, FGS Familia from Romania, FINDICONS from Moldova, PROFBUD from Ukraine, RAKENNSULITO from Finland and FNV from the Netherlands, as well as the participation of Comrade Marina Mesure, a French Euro-parliamentarian.

On the day before the start of the congress, a tour of the area was organised for the visiting delegation, with an exciting visit to the F.lli Cervi Resistance Museum in Gattatico (RE). The visit was an opportunity, in continuity with the path that the CGIL has proposed to the international trade unions against fascist and nazi culture in Europe - launched in Rome on the occasion of the demonstration one year after the fascist aggression suffered at the CGIL headquarters in Corso d'Italia - to discuss and share the need to increase our efforts to jointly oppose all forms of fascism and the need to increase our efforts to promote more and more democratic culture starting from the workplace.

On the same day, at the welcome dinner for the international delegation, attended by Salvatore Marra Head of International Policies of the CGIL and Alessandro Genovesi General Segratary of Fillea Nazionale, Fillea card no. 1 of 2023 was presented to comrade Luciana Castellina for her important political commitment to the entire Italian and European left.

Speakers during the congress:

Paola Cammilli of Bwi, who presented the results of the campaign in Qatar and launched the next initiatives of our world federation;

Tom Deleu – General Segretary of EFBWW - who emphasised the need to strengthen the commitment at European level to address the green transition of the sector, win the battle against the misuse of subcontracting, and promote the protection of workers against the health risk due to asbestos;

Vasyl Andreyev - President of PROFBUD the trade union of construction workers in Ukraine - who told the delegates at the congress of the serious difficulties faced by Ukrainian citizens and workers, urging us to support the path of pacification and to support a future reconstruction in Ukraine based on labour rights and quality.
